Trainee doctors at Saratov Medical University fill the staff shortage

The Razumovsky State Medical University not only trains future specialists, but also actively implements innovative approaches to their employment through the "trainee doctors" program.

The "Trainee Doctors" program developed by the university opens up unique opportunities for residents of the 2nd year of study. They can officially work as trainee doctors, gaining valuable experience under the guidance of professional mentors.
This program is aimed at replenishing the medical staff of medical institutions in the region and the region. Each trainee doctor is assigned highly qualified mentors. Due to this, the process of introducing young specialists into practice is more efficient. Experienced and practicing doctors also note that Saratov Medical University students come with excellent knowledge and skills. It is worth noting that trainee doctors, as well as their senior colleagues, can count on salaries and social support measures.
"Under the auspices of the Governor of the Saratov Region, Roman Busargin, a large—scale educational initiative, the Governor's Recruitment program, is being successfully implemented. This is a unique opportunity for ambitious students and residents of the region who have chosen a targeted field of study. Every year, about 100 residents start working as trainee doctors in regional hospitals in Saratov, Engels and other districts. They simultaneously receive a second specialty, which helps to overcome the personnel shortage in the region," said Andrey Eremin, Rector of the Razumovsky State Medical University.
