The SSMU delegation, led by Rector Andrey Eremin, presented the target model of the university's strategic development in a design and analytical session on the Priority 2030 Development Program.
In their report, the delegates of Saratov Medical University highlighted the priority areas of the university's development, emphasizing the importance of achieving global competitiveness of graduates in the field of healthcare, strengthening the national importance of research and development, as well as positioning as an actor in the health industry.
Among the results of technological projects, the university team presented smart molecules for targeted prevention, product lines and technologies for the Food as Medicine project, as well as lines of test systems for detecting ecotoxicants.
During the meeting, the experts discussed the issues of technological development in the field of medical education and medicine, the transformation of the management strategy of educational institutions, the promotion of scientific achievements and entrepreneurship in medical universities, intellectual property protection, staffing and a number of other important aspects.
"The innovative strategic development model of the Razumovsky State Medical University is focused on training new generation professionals and designing advanced products, technologies and services. This concept develops additional competencies of students in design, product creation and cross-industry interaction, fostering the ability to think strategically and form an innovative environment in the field of healthcare. All the measures we take to implement technological transformations contribute to shaping the university's image as a leader in health planning," Rector Andrey Eremin emphasized in his speech.
The support of the regional government and personally the Governor of the Saratov Region, Roman Busargin, significantly strengthens the prospects for the implementation of the Saratov Medical University development strategy. Such cooperation creates reliable conditions for the comprehensive intensive development of the healthcare system, the implementation of large-scale transformations and the training of in-demand specialists.
