Strengthening cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan

The delegation of Saratov Medical University took part in the XXI Forum of interregional cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia in Uralsk.

The Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia symbolizes a fruitful strategic partnership between our countries based on mutual trust. New economic, infrastructural and humanitarian projects are being born on this unique platform, which are then consistently implemented at the regional level.

A rich business program awaited the guests of the Forum. The main issues for discussion were the development of bilateral relations in the fields of digitalization, education, transport and logistics, industry and energy, opportunities for cooperation to provide high-tech jobs in the regions, and much more.

The Razumovsky State Medical University was represented at the forum by Alexander Fedonnikov, Vice-Rector for Research, and Natalia Kloktunova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs. In his speech, Alexander Fedonnikov emphasized the processes of cooperation between the countries that have already been established and established over the years, including the effective work of the Saratov Medical University Resource Center at the Maksat Medical College in Uralsk, as well as the signing of a cooperation agreement with the West Kazakhstan Higher Medical College.

The speakers also noted the SSMU's further prospects for cooperation in improving the flexible system of education, development, medical tourism, the introduction of IT technologies into the educational process, the development of joint forms of education, as well as cooperation to develop high-tech medical care in close cooperation with leading SSMU specialists.

It is expected that the event will make a great contribution to the development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia in various areas, strengthen mutually beneficial economic cooperation between the countries, and strengthen business ties.
